Desde miúdo que o Dakar desperta em mim fortes emoções e desejos.
Enquanto não vi o deserto não descansei..., e já por duas vezes rumei a Sul para repousar por umas horas num Albergue que beija as douradas areias do Sahara.
De Lisboa a Merzouga, no Erg Chebi (sul de Marrocos) são pouco mais de mil e quinhentos quilómetros. Um Mundo intenso, diferente. Uma viagem no tempo ao alcance de qualquer um...
A culpa deste fascínio é dessa grande aventura, a corrida mais louca do Mundo, que agora – finalmente! - parte de Lisboa.
De Lisboa sempre sonhei ser a cidade perfeita para a partida do mítico Rally Dakar.
Enfim, o tempo satisfez o meu desejo, e nos próximos três anos a mais louca (a única...) corrida do Mundo parte da minha terra.
Este blogue surge, para já timidamente, como um projecto pessoal. Apenas com o simplório objectivo de compilar alguma informação (e suas fontes) relativas à grande prova Africana.
Tentarei no espaço que medeia entre hoje e o inicio da prova, ainda que desta forma “artificial”, viver um pouco do frenesim que caracteriza o Dakar. Depois, a partir do ultimo dia deste ano, o objectivo será acompanhar o Rally como sempre o faço. À minha maneira. Vivendo-o e já agora, partilhando essa experiência...., se tiver “andamento” para tal. Cronos, o grande Juiz do nosso tempo, o dirá!
A mais louca corrida do Mundo também passará por aqui..., pelas pistas e areias da blogosfera...
